Yes. Summer Solstice happens rain or shine. All ticket sales are final and no refunds will be issued due to weather or changing conditions on the land.
Camping is very primitive. There are no hookups, no running water, no showers, and very limited modern conveniences. Please come prepared to be self-sufficient for the weekend.
Some vehicle and RV camping is available in designated areas near the parking field. The main festival field is walk-in camping only. A shuttle will be available.
The ticket/check-in area is located in the dome structure in the parking/camping area. A shuttle runs from the parking field across the creek to the main festival entrance for attendees and gear.
Yes. A “quiet side” of the camping area is available for those seeking a more restful environment, though this remains an active music gathering and complete silence cannot be guaranteed
There are permanent outhouse structures on the land. There are no portable toilets or indoor restroom facilities.
No. There is no running water on the property. The creek is clean and swimmable, and many attendees use biodegradable soap products for bathing in keeping with the biodynamic farm principles.
Cell service is extremely limited or unavailable in most areas of the farm.
No. There are no charging stations on site. Attendees who need electricity for phones or small devices should bring their own battery packs or portable power stations.
No. Please bring all drinking water and wash water you expect to need for the weekend.
Food and coffee vendors are expected to be on site, though offerings may vary throughout the weekend. Specific dietary accommodations such as vegan or gluten-free options cannot be guaranteed.
Yes. Outside food, coolers, and BYOB are all welcome. No alcohol is sold on site.
Yes. Small personal fires are allowed in established fire pits. Please observe fire safety at all times and only gather dead/downed wood respectfully from the land.
No. Dogs are not allowed under any circumstances. Certified service animals required by law must remain leashed and under control at all times.
Absolutely. Acoustic instruments and spontaneous jams are a major part of the culture of Solstice and are encouraged throughout the weekend.
No personal amplified music systems or speakers are allowed anywhere on the land, including campsites and vehicles.
Amplified stage music generally ends around 1:00 AM. Acoustic jams often continue late into the night and sometimes until sunrise.
Yes. Summer Solstice is an all-ages gathering and children 12 and under are free. Parents should understand that this is a rustic community event with late-night music, campfires, and minimal modern infrastructure.
Yes. The creek is a popular swimming and gathering spot throughout the weekend. As with any natural environment, please use common sense and supervise children at all times.
The land is mostly grassy and fairly level with some uneven ground, dirt paths, rocks, and natural terrain. At this time, the festival does not offer ADA accommodations and may not be suitable for those with significant mobility limitations.
Weather and natural conditions are part of the experience of an outdoor gathering on the farm. Heavy rain can occasionally affect creek crossings and vehicle access to certain areas of the property. Delays entering or exiting the festival grounds are rare but possible during severe weather conditions.
Yes. Re-entry is allowed.
No firearms, fireworks, or weapons are permitted on the property.
Yes. Staff and gate personnel are present throughout the weekend to help maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
There is no on-site medical tent. Please come prepared with any medications, supplies, or personal items you may need during the weekend.
Yes. Photographers and videographers may be documenting the event throughout the weekend.
