VOLUNTEERS FOR SUMMER SOLSTICE

Thank you for wanting to volunteer at the Summer Solstice Music Festival and Family Campout. Please note that this is a fundraising opportunity for the farm, that this event costs us a lot of money to put on, and that we would rather everyone just pay their ticket price. If it is important enough to you, you could put aside $10 per week for 7 weeks, and you could have your ticket funds. That would be much appreciated.

If paying your ticket price is not an option for you, here are the volunteering options:

1. Attend the pre-event volunteer work day at 8am on June 11. Seven hours of volunteering that day will give you a free ticket.
2. Sign up for 7 shifts of outhouse cleaning during the event.
3. Schedule a farm work day any time before the event. Seven hours of farm work will give you a free ticket.

Please email info@barefootfarmer.com to sign up for your volunteer position. If none of these options suit you, and you would still like to camp out on the farm, please schedule a time to camp out and enjoy the farm on a different weekend.

We have a staff that handles everything else, and a clean-up crew will not be needed after the event.

The attendees of this event are people who care about the farm, and have enough respect for it, the people they are with, and themselves to leave the farm better than it was before they got there. Therefore, a clean-up crew should not be necessary.
