Directions

Red Boiling Springs, TN is located approximately 70 miles Northeast of Nashville, TN

Heady Ridge Farm, where Jeff Poppen resides (200+ acres) is located on Heady Ridge Road, Red Boiling Springs, TN 37150.

A GPS will not get you there. Use GPS to get to Red Boiling Springs on Highway 52. Then, please use the following directions:

If you are coming from the West – Nashville/Lafayette, look for McClure St. on the left, just before the building with the red awnings, after the grocery and gas station.  If you are coming from the South or East, watch for McClure on the right AFTER the red awnings.  Follow McClure 1.1 miles, then turn LEFT at the stop sign and follow Heady Ridge Rd up the hill.  Once you are on Heady Ridge Road, you will pass a landfill on your left. Go down the big hill that curves around to the left through open pastures. Once you pass into a tree line, there will be a barn on the top of the hill to your right with solar panels on it. Jeff’s driveway is the one at the bottom of that hill on the right, nearly 2 miles out Heady Ridge Rd.

There is mailbox with 2250 on it, and a sign that says Long Hungry Creek Farm on one side of the road. This is the FARM ENTRANCE. Directly across the street from that is an unmarked driveway. This is JEFF POPPEN’s DRIVEWAY. 

If you go too far there will be a driveway on your left that is the entrance to our farm.

If you get to a small cement bridge with graffiti on it you have gone too far.

Our farmers market is located at 520 Lafayette Rd. in RBS, TN.

(GPS works fine to find that location.)

From the North, if you’re not on Hwy 52 :

coming in from KY 100 – get to Gamaliel.  In Gamaliel, watch for the Hwy 63 branching off to the south. Follow 63 south. In 1.3 miles it will enter Tennessee and become Hwy 56. Stay on 56 for another 8.3 miles. This will bring you into Red Boiling Springs. The road comes down a steep curving hill. At the bottom of the hill is the Palace Nursing home on the right.  Turn RIGHT on McClure St., just after the Palace. Stay on McClure for just a couple blocks (bank on the left). Turn RIGHT at the sign that says “Left Turn Must Stop”. Veer slightly LEFT at the Yield sign to stay on Heady Ridge Rd, then follow directions from Heady Ridge Road above.
