Cookeville CSA

NOW ACCEPTING EBT!

Our Cookeville CSA delivers from 4pm to 6pm each Thursday at Good Shephard Health Food Store.  The season runs from the first Thursday of June through December.

A one time, life membership fee of $50 is required.

When you support us, our farm is your farm. We encourage you to participate in farm activities: hikes, picnics, swimming, camping and planting potatoes. It’s a beautiful place with un-logged forests and a clear creek winding past bluffs and a cave. About one third of the farm’s 200+ acres are rolling meadows and hay fields which, with our herd of cattle, sustain the fertility of the farm.

Through CSAs small organic farms thrive, and city folks get the freshest food possible. Our CSA members enjoy:

  • Biodynamic food, at competitive organic prices, direct from the farm
  • More than 80 varieties of vegetables, herbs and flowers grown here each year
  • Sharing vegetables and recipes with friends and neighbors
  • Belonging to a community of people who also care about quality produce and supporting local organic agriculture
  • And a connection with the farm and farmers who grow your food

We prefer you pay up front, as your payment is supporting the farm to grow vegetables for the following year with a budget to work with, but half up front and half in the middle is fine also. We are willing to work with people on a payment schedule if need be.

Single Share: $750/year (if paid by first pick up or 1/2 upfront and 1/2 by September) OR $115/month ($805/year). 
 
Family Share: $1250/year (if paid by first pick up or 1/2 upfront and 1/2 by September) OR $200/month ($1400/year).
